Create a Dashboard Online for Free — No Credit Card Needed

Most ‘free’ dashboard tools aren’t really free. The free plan gives you something barely functional, then locks the useful features behind a paywall. Or it’s free for 14 days and then asks for a credit card.

Infograph’s free tier is different. One dashboard, 500 AI credits, full sharing capabilities. No credit card. No trial timer. You can build and share a real dashboard without entering payment details.

Here’s exactly how to do it.

What You Need

Just your data. That’s it.

Infograph works with:

  • CSV files — export from any spreadsheet, CRM, analytics tool, or database
  • Google Sheets — connect directly; dashboard updates when the sheet updates
  • Excel Online — same live connection as Google Sheets

If your data is in a spreadsheet or can be exported to one, you can build a dashboard from it.

Step 1: Sign Up (30 Seconds)

Go to app.infograph.ai and create a free account. Email and password — that’s all. No credit card field.

Step 2: Upload or Connect Your Data

Click ‘New Dashboard’ and choose your data source:

  • Upload a file — drag your CSV, TSV, or Excel file directly in
  • Connect Google Sheets — authorise with your Google account, then select which sheet to use
  • Connect Excel Online — same process via your Microsoft account

The file upload takes a few seconds. The live connections take about 30 seconds to authorise.

Step 3: Describe Your Dashboard

Type what you want to see. Write it like you’re explaining it to a colleague:

“Show monthly sales by region as a bar chart. Add a total revenue summary card. Include a line chart for customer growth over the last 12 months.”

Infograph reads your data, figures out which columns match your description, and builds the dashboard. If a column name is ambiguous, it makes a reasonable guess — you can adjust it after.

Step 4: Refine It

Keep prompting until it looks right. Add charts, remove ones you don’t need, change groupings, adjust time ranges. Every prompt applies immediately.

If the AI misunderstood something, just correct it: “Make the region chart show top 5 regions only.” “Change the revenue chart to weekly instead of monthly.”

Step 5: Share It

When the dashboard looks right, click ‘Publish’. You get a shareable link.

On the free plan, your dashboard is publicly accessible via the link. If you want to restrict who can see it — password protection, team-only access — those are paid features.

But for sharing a dashboard with a client, a colleague, or embedding it in a doc, the public link works fine.

What You Can Build on the Free Plan

One dashboard, but there’s no meaningful limitation on what that dashboard can contain. Multiple charts, multiple data sources (via a single connected file), full sharing.

500 AI credits is enough to build a dashboard and iterate on it a reasonable number of times. Roughly equivalent to $0.50 worth of AI usage — enough to go from raw data to finished dashboard without hitting the limit.

When to Upgrade

The free plan is genuinely useful. If you need more than one dashboard, live connections to multiple sources, or access controls on who can view your dashboard, the Pro plan is $19.99/month.

Most people start on free, build their first dashboard, and upgrade when they want to build a second one.
